How creators can withdraw Thankbox gift collections?
If you're buying the gift yourself, you can withdraw the money collected in your Thankbox to your PayPal or Bank account.
Step 1: Open your gift collection settings
From your Dashboard, open your Thankbox and select Manage gift collection in the left side menu. You'll see how much has been collected, anything already spent, and the funds remaining.
Step 2: Select Withdraw funds
Click Withdraw funds and read the summary before continuing. A 4% fee applies to withdrawals, and once you withdraw, the gift collection closes permanently and can't be reopened.
If you'd rather the recipient received the full amount, skip the withdrawal and send the Thankbox as it is. They'll then choose how to redeem the collection themselves, including options like a gift card, a virtual prepaid card, or via PayPal/Bank transfer. Withdrawing makes sense when you're the one buying the gift.
Select Continue when you're ready.
Step 3: Confirm your country and email
Choose Your country, then enter the email address where your withdrawal details should be sent.
💡 Tip: Use a personal email rather than a work one so you keep permanent access to your withdrawal details.
Select Continue.
Step 4: Choose how to receive the money
Pick either PayPal or Bank transfer, then select Finish. Each option shows the final gift value after the 4% fee, so you can see exactly what will arrive.
Withdrawal options vary by country, so you may see only one method available depending on where you are. If neither works for you, email support@thankbox.com and we'll help you find an alternative.
Step 5: Track your withdrawal
Your withdrawal will show as Processing while the payment is being issued.
Once it's complete, the status changes to Withdrawn, along with the date and the final amount. Select View details to see the full breakdown at any time.
