Why do I have to wait for my gift card to be issued?

On some occasions, you may need to wait to redeem your gift card because there is a delay between us receiving the funds from your contributors and them being transferred to our gift card provider. We also run fraud checks which sometimes cause a delay.

Rest assured that the funds due to you are registered in our system and you are added to the queue immediately at the point at which you redeem your Thankbox.
