How can I leave a private message in a Thankbox?

If you don't feel comfortable adding a message to a Thankbox that can be read by everybody who has access to the card, you can easily make it private.

To do that, click the Add a message button, and once you are done, hit the Hide button under the message box.

To ensure you have clicked it, you will see the following message: "Message will be hidden to other contributors", and the Hide button will change to Show so you can reverse it.

Also, the message will be labelled as private in the bottom left corner after it is posted. That way, only you, the organiser of the Thankbox, and the recipient will be able to see it. It will show hidden to anyone else who opens the card.

If you change your mind and want to make the message public or forgot to make it private when you added it, you can easily adjust that via the edit your message link. You should have received this link if you provided your email address when adding your message.
